New video emerges of Marjorie Taylor Greene harassing Parkland survivor David Hogg

Another video has surfaced of Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene following and heckling Parkland school shooting survivor David Hogg. 

In this video, inside what appears to be a Senate office building, Ms Taylor Greene can be heard asking Mr Hogg: "David, do you really think Red Flag gun laws are going to prevent mass shootings? Studies show that Red Flag gun laws do not prevent suicides or mass shootings." 

"Red Flag" gun laws are state laws that allow a judge to order that a firearm be confiscated from an individual if they are deemed to be a danger to themselves or others.  

The footage came out after another video emerged on Wednesday (27 January) showing Ms Taylor Greene stalking the gun control advocate through the streets of DC. 

Several people have now criticised Ms Taylor Greene over the footage – with House leader Nancy Pelosi demanding her education committee membership be revoked. 

Mr Hogg is a survivor of the Parkland school shooting in Florida, which left 17 people dead in February 2018.

At the time the video was recorded, Ms Taylor Greene was not yet in the House of Representatives, but she was a candidate for Congressional office.

In the video, Ms Taylor Greene can be heard saying "How did you get so much media coverage for your group? Who pays for this?" She has previously falsely accused Mr Hogg of being paid by billionaire philanthropist George Soros. 

A lot of Ms Taylor Greene's comments in the video are drowned out by Mr Hogg's small group of gun control advocates chanting "Enough is enough!"

Towards the end of the video, Ms Taylor Greene says that people will still commit mass shootings and mass killings, saying "they don't need guns". She then goes on to claim that the group is being "used by the left" because they are young. "You're being tricked into having your Second Amendment slowly chipped away and taken away from you," she says.  

"You're born into this country with all these freedoms, and you don't even appreciate what you have. David Hogg, you don't even know what you have, you're so young, you cannot realise..." she tells the school shooting survivor as the video ends.

Ms Taylor Greene has come into focus for her past support of QAnon conspiracies and most recently for old social media posts that resurfaced and appeared to show her supporting violence against her Democrat colleagues. 

Mr Hogg shared the second video of Ms Taylor Greene while the first was shared on her YouTube channel. 

Ms Taylor Greene told CNN in a statement that she was "going from office to office in the Senate to oppose the radical gun control agenda that David Hogg was pushing".

Former Democratic Arizona Representative and shooting survivor Gabbie Giffords has attacked Ms Taylor Greene over the footage. 

Ms Giffords tweeted that she was thinking of Mr Hogg and “every survivor who has been harassed after losing friends or family to gun violence. 'Representative' isn't just a title - it's also a job description. Members of Congress should represent our better values of respect, compassion, and decency.”
