Your support makes all the difference.CNN reporter Jim Acosta has gone viral on Twitter after wearing a T-shirt detailing the 2020 stories he covered while getting vaccination.
Mr Acosta, a CNN anchor and chief domestic correspondent, shared a photo of himself receiving the coronavirus vaccine on Monday.
The 49-year-old reporter, who became a “familiar foe” of former President Donald Trump during his term in office, celebrated receiving the jab by writing: “Just the shot in the arm I needed.”
He added: “The latest studies show the Covid-19 vaccines are highly effective. Please do your part to end this pandemic. Get your shot!”
Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot that Mr Acosta was wearing a customised T-shirt in the photo alongside the caption listing all the major news stories he covered in 2020.

"In 2020, I covered the impeachment trial & a caucus night (that lasted a week) & the primaries & the covid pandemic & the economic crash & the racial justice protests & Lafayette Square & so many rallies & the death of RBG & the president’s 1AM coronavirus diagnosis & a Supreme Court confirmation & an election night (that lasted a week) & things by tweet & the recounts & the presidential transition & I have a commemorative shirt to prove it,” the shirt read.
Commenters who noticed the unique attire voiced their mixed opinions in the comments on the post, which now has almost 60,000 likes.
“OMG this shirt, that’s one hell of a year, Jim Acosta,” one user said.
“Your shirt is f*ing amazing and you look like a total stud, and THANK YOU for your honest (ly sometimes brutal) coverage,” another wrote.
Others apparently wanted to get their hands on their own version of the shirt with one person writing: “Some one get me this”.
Other users called out the reporter for being a “narcissist” saying the shirt was “embarrassing” with one saying: “Glad you got vaccinated, Jim. Also, why are you wearing a commemorative shirt to yourself?”
“This is the most Jim Acosta thing Jim Acosta has ever done, even more Jim Acosta than Jim Acosta making his Twitter header a picture of Jim Acosta pointing at Jim Acosta’s Twitter avatar of Jim Acosta,” another said.
“Find someone who loves you the way Jim Acosta loves himself,” one person wrote.
