During a town hall televised on Fox News last week, the host of Hannity asked the president what his priorities are for a second term, but Mr Trump did not list any.
“What’s at stake at this election – let's compare and contrast. And what are your top priority items for a second term,” Mr Hannity asked the president.
Mr Trump gave a rambling answer which included a comparison of experience and talent, a reminiscence about his swearing in, a claim that he had visited DC 17 times but never slept over before becoming president and an attack on his former national security adviser John Bolton – but no specific policy aims.
On Tuesday, Mr Cuban, the owner of basketball team the Dallas Mavericks, joined the show to talk to Mr Hannity about Joe Biden’s strengths ahead of the 2020 presidential election.
During the conversation, the host repeated a conservative criticism that the former vice president is not mentally capable for the job, after Mr Biden has stumbled for words in some interviews.
“By the way, you’ve got to admit that the guy’s not exactly with it – come on, be honest,” Mr Hannity said.
“Sean, you gave Donald Trump the ultimate softball question and he couldn’t answer it,” Mr Cuban responded.
“Joe Biden’s lost it,” the host replied. “He doesn’t have a fastball, a curveball, or a slow pitch. Come on, Mark.”
Mr Cuban, who was becoming increasingly incredulous, told the host: “Come on, you know Donald Trump can’t answer your questions.
“You and every Fox News interviewer gives him the easiest questions and he can’t answer them. Why is that, Sean?”
Last month, after criticism about his performances, Mr Biden released his medical assessment that described him as suitably healthy for the presidency.
Dr Kevin O’Connor of The George Washington University released a medical summary, that describedthe former vice president as a “healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency to include those as chief executive, head of state and commander in chief.”
