Your support makes all the difference.Two men appeared in court yesterday charged with murdering the British newlyweds Catherine and Ben Mullany on Antigua.
Kaniel Martin, 20, and Avie Howell, 17, are accused of shooting dead the couple, from south Wales, in a suspected bungled burglary three weeks ago. They are both believed to be Antiguans who lived near the Cocos Hotel and Resort where the couple were staying and were killed.
The defendants were also charged with robbery and receiving stolen goods. Two Hispanic women, aged 32 and 22, are charged with handling property allegedly stolen from the couple.
Mrs Mullany, a doctor from Pontardarwe, near Swansea, died instantly from a single gunshot wound to her head. Mr Mullany, a physiotherapist, never regained consciousness from a coma and died soon after being flown home to Wales.
