Your support makes all the difference.TikTok star Nathan ‘Doggface’ Apodaca, who first went viral after filming himself skateboarding while listening to Fleetwood Mac, has become a homeowner after living out of his RV.
The 37-year-old viral star purchased a home in his hometown of Idaho Falls, Idaho, TMZ reported.
Mr Apodaca reportedly paid $320,000 in cash for the five-bedroom, three-bathroom property and is expected to get the keys officially next week.
Prior to the purchase, Mr Apodaca was living out of his RV, which had no running water and was parked outside his brother’s home so he could access a working bathroom.
His home situation has since changed following his viral video first shared on TikTok on 25 September. In the video, Mr Apodaca is seen skateboarding down the street while listening to Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 song Dreams and drinking Ocean Spray’s cranberry juice.
TikTok users loved the video so much that it has since been viewed 11 million times and recreated by thousands of people, including Fleetwood Mac’s singer Stevie Nicks.
Donations poured in from strangers after the video went viral all in an effort to help Mr Apodaca purchase a new RV. But then Ocean Spray gifted the man with a new truck, thus changing his plans and helping him turn his sights on purchasing a home instead.
Besides the donations, Mr Apodaca also made money through filming a Vivint home security system ad with rapper Snoop Dog. He’s also launched his own online merchandise store with T-shirts and other clothing items showing a picture of his viral moment. Before Halloween, Mr Apodaca created a costume of himself that he sold on his website.
The new home will reportedly house Mr Apodaca; his new fiance, Estela Chavez; his two daughters, 15-year-old Angelia and 14-year-old Makyla, and his 15-year-old step son, Andreas Chavez.
