Footage of a car ploughing into pedestrians crossing a street in Buffalo, New York has been released by police.

The CCTV pictures (above), shows a white car driving off the road at high speed and hitting three men.

One of the pedestrians is hit so forcibly that he flies through the air.

According to local media, the victim is a teenager who is said to be recovering from his injuries.

The 19-year-old driver of the vehicle, which did not stop, was arrested within 5 minutes of the collision.
