Motorcyclists arrive at Ground Zero, Manhattan, at the culmination of America's 9/11 Ride', an annual three-day event to honour the victims – particularly the first response rescue workers – of the World Trade Centre attacks.
About 2500 vehicles were involved in this year's ride ahead of the 10th anniversary of the attacks, with participants setting off from Pennsylvania and stopping at the Flight 93 memorial and the Pentagon en route to New York City. Many of the participants have a background in the emergency services, with funds raised along the way going to police, firefighters, ambulance staff and their families.
