Mayor Johnson to move on to New York City on Tuesday

London Mayor Boris Johnson opted not to cut short his visit in Boston on Monday, instead walking around the city during Winter Storm Marcus, the third winter storm to hit the area in two weeks.
In staying, Mr Johnson ran the risk of getting stranded in Boston, but Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker declined issuing a travel ban that would have kept him in the city. So the mayor is expected to move on to New York City on Tuesday via Amtrak train. He will also visit Washington DC to meet with US presidential hopeful Hilary Clinton.
Boston, and most of the US Northeast, has been in the grips of some of the worst snow storms in US history. Winter Storm Marcus is expected to drop up to another two feet on some parts of the region.
The Weather Channel reported that Boston area crews have ploughed enough snow to fill Gillette Stadium – home of the Super Bowl-champion New England Patriots – more than 90 times.
The storms have been so severe, there have even been multiple reports of a yeti sighting.
