As reported by OregonLive, 33-year-old Robert Tudorache allegedly pointed a firearm at another person, threatening to kill them, in Keizer Rapids Park in Oregon.
When officers responded to the scene at around 4.45pm, he was found on a park walking path. He took off by foot into the woods, temporarily evading officers.
Police found Tudorache again at approximately 7pm, after another park goer reported seeing a man clinging to a log in the Willamette river.
Officers responded, finding the Oregon man about four miles from where they believe he entered the river via boat ramp.
After being fished out of the water, Tudorache was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
At this point, his condition is unclear. Tudorache has been booked in a local county jail on suspicions of unlawful use of a firearm and menacing.
