Your support makes all the difference.A man who opened fire at a Nevada hospital, killing a doctor and himself, left a suicide note at his home claiming to have had botched surgery three years before the rampage, police have said.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday, Reno police Lt. William Rulla confirmed the suspects name as Alan Oliver Frazier, 51, and said the notes left at his home in Westwood, California, indicated "the suspect’s intent to commit this horrific act” and that his actions during the shooting at Urology Nevada “were to be his final actions.”
The note, which also reportedly contained detailed plans of the shooting, could provide more information on why the urology clinic at the Renown Regional Medical Centre was targeted on Tuesday.
In the note Frazier allegedly claimed he had experienced adverse symptoms due to surgery he underwent in 2010. Police said he entered the Renown Regional Medical Centre campus and said he was "looking for physicians and not patrons".
He then shot two doctors and killed a third person, Dr. Charles Gholdoian, before walking into the lobby of the building and shooting himself in the head.
Police say they discovered more firearms inside his property.
Both Dr Christine Lajeunesse and Dr Shawntae Spears remain in a critical condition in hospital.
Authorities said they do not know who performed surgery on Frazier or when the operation was carried out.
