Nancy Gordeuk: Georgia school head teacher apologises for racist outburst at graduation and says 'Satan' got the better of her

Students and faculty members attending a graduation ceremony in Atlanta were shocked when their principal went into a racist outburst.

Nancy Gordeuk, founder and principal of TNT Academy in Stone Mountain, Georgia, yelled offensive statements toward black students in attendance at TNT Academy’s graduation ceremony in Lilburn, Georgia.

“You people are being so rude to not listen to this speech. It was my fault that we missed the speech in the programme - Look who’s leaving! All the black people!’”

Video of the incident has gone viral on social media and Ms Gordeuk has since apologised for the outbursts in a statement to MyFoxAtlanta.com, claiming her emotions and “the devil” got the best of her.

“I sincerely apologise to all the persons in attendance at the ceremony for the actions of the few causing the disturbance and for my emotional, un-called generalisation of the black persons in attendance,” she said.

“I deeply apologise for my actions made in the emotional state of trying to let this last student finish his speech. I take a personal interest in the success of every student that comes through our doors without regard to their race, religion, or ethnicity.

“My main concern for each is to provide them with an education and high school diploma to be able to continue on the pathway toward adulthood to become a successful member of society.

“Again, I deeply apologise for my offensive comment in the heat of my emotional state in trying to achieve respect for a student to be able to speak.”

However, parents were not interested in her apologetic statement, sighting the school’s 48 graduates who paid up to $300 for the ceremony. Some parents asked for her resignation as well as a career change.

“She needs to get out of that field of being a teacher or a motivator. She doesn’t need to be in that field at all,” Shakel Forman, a mother who attended the ceremony told WXIA.

Brooklyn Jacobs, another attendee, told WSB-TV that she began filming before because she saw the outburst coming.

“We were just trying to get her being rude. It was something un-normal like you don’t see that on a regular basis,” Ms Jacobs said.

“She named only black people. She didn’t say, ‘Oh look at the Caucasians leaving, look at the Indians leaving.’ She said blacks.”

Ms Gordeuk’s son Travis, took to Facebook defending his mother with a slew of his own racial slurs.

“Yall niggas aren’t talkin about shit so if u got something to say come see me face to face,” he wrote.

“I hope everyone had a great mothers day and to everyone tgere are ppl hating getting on my page and posting shit so Imm sorry in advance if it happrbx.”
