A former intern and ghostwriter for far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos allegedly killed his father after he called him a Nazi.

Lane Davis, a conspiracy theorist and YouTube rapper, is accused of fatally stabbing his father on 14 July after a row erupted between him and his parents and he accused them of being “leftist peadophiles”.

Mr Davis, a prominent far right figure who used the pen name “Seattle4Truth” on social media despite living around 75 miles away, was unemployed. He was living with his parents Catherine and Charles Davis in Samish Island, an island just off the northwest of the Washington mainland.

According to a tape of the police phone call obtained by the Daily Beast, on 14 July the 33-year-old allegedly chased his parents around their home, spitting in his father’s face while reassuring them he was not threatening to kill them but claiming paedophiles were taking over America.

While his parents had grown used to his online and real world tirades, Ms Davis is believed to have responded to this by calling the police to arrive.

“He’s not physically threatening us or anything. He just gets out of control and he’s ranting about stuff from the internet,” Ms Davis told the dispatcher according to the tape.

She added: “He’s chasing us around the house. He’s mad about something on the internet about leftist pedophiles and he thinks we’re leftist and he’s calling us pedophiles.”

This ties in with a far-right conspiracy theory liberals are secretly organising peadophilia rings around the globe and even as far afield as the planet Mars. Earlier this year, one of the younger Davis’ videos described “progressive ideology’s deep ties to peadophilia”.

The father recorded his son’s outburst, as he had started doing increasingly, and according to the audio file recovered by Skagit County Detective Kevin Sigman, the son became enraged by the police call and began threatening to kill his father.

Ms Davis is then said to have called the police a second time, yelling: “He stabbed him!”

Mr Davis, who is a keen pro Donald Trump reddit commenter, is then said to have walked outside, dropped the knife and stood with his hands in the air while waiting for the police.

According to police, Ms Davis called a third time because the connection was lost and said: “He’s dead, he’s dead, he’s dead.”

Mr Davis is currently being held on a $1 million bail and is pleading not guilty to first-degree murder. His trial is scheduled for January.

Mr Davis told told police officers the altercation began after they started discussing “whether toddlers could consent to sex or not” and his father branded him a Nazi and a racist.

“This island is in mourning,” Angie Mashaw, the victim's sister-in-law and alleged killer's aunt, told the Skagit Valley Herald. “Our family loved (Charles) dearly. He was the brother I never had.”

Mr Davis wrote for the popular “alt-right” site The Ralph Retort and his YouTube videos frequently amassed thousands of views. His pro-Trump raps include lyrics such as: “Finger on the trigger. Trump might use a nuke, boy,” and “F*** that globalism, motherf*** a TPP Open border b**ches, better learn your enemies.”

Mr Davis worked for Yiannopoulos before he was forced to leave Breitbart and according to a statement by Yiannopoulos, he threatened him and went to BuzzFeed with “false and inaccurate accusations.”

“Mr Davis was a volunteer for me for a brief period of time prior to my founding MILO Inc,” a spokesperson for Yiannopolous told the Daily Beast. “I was unhappy with his work and discontinued the relationship. I then experienced his anger firsthand as he threatened me and later went to BuzzFeed making false and inaccurate accusations.“

Yiannopoulos, a far-right blogger who was permanently banned from Twitter last summer after claims he helped lead the racist and sexist abuse of Ghostbusters actor Leslie Jones, was forced to resign from far-right publication Breitbart after his remarks about underage sex resurfaced in an old podcast in February.
