Your support makes all the difference.An Oklahoma police officer has been arrested for the death of his police chief after his body was found in the hotel room they were sharing.
Michael Nealey, 49, was charged with homicide over the death of Lucky Miller, police chief of Mannford, Oklahoma. His body was discovered in the hotel room they were sharing while attending a training course on investigating child abuse in Pensacola Beach, Florida, according to Newson6.
According to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, there was an argument between the two men. Police responded to a call about a fight at the Hilton Inn at about 9.50pm on Sunday night.
By the time officers arrived Mr Miller was dead.
The cause of death has not been publicly released.
According to a statement from the City of Mannford, Mr Miller had been police chief since 2007 and was married with three children, according to CNN.
In a Facebook post the mayor of Mannford, Tyler Buttram, said: "We are heartbroken by the news. Please keep both families in your prayers as we work to move forward."
