NBA star Kevin Durant has revealed he has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 31-year-old forward revealed he is one of four players with the Brooklyn Nets to have tested positive. A

At least seven players with the National Basketball Association (NBA) are known to have been infected, though officials have not identified who they are.

In an interview with The Athletic, Durant said: “Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We’re going to get through this.”

In a statement, the Nets said only one of the four had shown symptoms.

“All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff,” it said.

The Nets are currently notifying people who were in contact with the players and has asked members of their travelling party to self-isolate.

Durant and his three Nets teammates join Utah’s Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell and Detroit’s Christian Wood as the only NBA players known to have tested positive for the virus.
