The troubled spokesman will face 5-12.5 years in prison, 5 years probation, sexual disorder treatment and $1.4 million ($100,000 to 14 victims), the Indianapolis Star reported. Mr Fogle’s networth is reportedly estimated at $15 million.
Federal authorities analyzed 159,634 text messages, 27,140 emails analyzed, 47,623 images 3,394 videos, finding that Mr Fogle sent explicit text messages to 14 underage girls, saying that he would accept sex with a 16-year-old girl but "the younger the girl, the better."
“Part of the case involves images Fogle received from Russell Taylor, the head of Fogle's foundation. According to the complaint, Taylor sent Fogle photos and videos from hidden cameras in Taylor's house, featuring children as young as approximately 6,” TMZ reported.
According to the Star, attorney Jeremy Margolis offered a brief statement on Mr Fogle’s behalf.
“[Jared] knows the restitution can't undo the damage he's done, but he will do everything in his power to make it right.”
Katie McLaughlin, Mr Fogle’s wife, also issued a statement Wednesday afternoon announcing the “dissolution” of the couple’s marriage.
"Obviously, I am extremely shocked and disappointed by the recent developments involving Jared. I am in the process of seeking a dissolution of the marriage. My focus is exclusively on the well-being of my children. Neither I nor my family will have any further comment on the matter. I appreciate respect for my family’s privacy during this difficult time.”
Subway also doubled down on their previous comments announcing the newly severed ties between their former spokesman.
