A plastic surgeon in Brazil was reportedly suspended and accused of breaching a code of ethics for dancing with bags of human flesh after she filmed the routines for TikTok.

Also known as "minhacirurgiaoficial", Caren Trisoglio Garcia appeared to be holding bags of human fat and skin in the TikTok videos, many of which featured upbeat music and overlays.

The videos were removed following her suspension by São Paulo’s regional medical board on Thursday last week, according to a report by G1, a Brazilian news outlet.

In one of the offending videos, Ms Garcia was seen holding a large piece of flesh with the caption "today's trophy”, and appeared to wiggled it, smiling.

In others, Ms Garcia was seen with bags reportedly containing flesh with captions including "this is the breast" and "this is underarm fat," which were also dangled in front of the camera, as she performed a dance.

The human flesh was believed to be from her patients in Ribeirão Preto, a city 195 miles (315 km) north of São Paolo, the regional capital of São Paolo state.

The Regional Medical Council of the State of São Paulo (Cremesp) issued Ms Garcia with the six-month temporary suspension following a request from the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP).

G1 reported that the SBCP had already suspended the surgeon for a breach of ethics, removing Ms Garcia from a list of official plastic surgeons, before the action by Cremsep.

She is reportedly unable to perform surgery following the suspension by São Paulo’s regional medical council, and according to Brazilian news outlet Metropoles, could face the removal of her operating license if she is found guilty of medical misconduct.
