A double-decker commuter train hit an empty, stationary train in a suburb of Buenos Aires this morning, killing at least three people and injuring more than 100.

Stunned and injured passengers stumbled from the train, while many others waited for rescue. It was not immediately clear why the leading train had stopped, or why the second train failed to stop in time.
