The Colombian government says a top reputed Colombian drug lord has been captured.
A presidential spokesman says Daniel Rendon was arrested in northern Colombia. Rendon tops Colombia's list of most-wanted suspects.
President Alvaro Uribe has offered up to $2 million for Rendon's apprehension and the capture of three other top suspected Colombian drug traffickers.
Colombian police say Rendon has offered a bounty of $1,000 for each police officer his assassins killed.
Presidential spokesman Cesar Velasquez announced the arrest today.
