Beth Rae Harris, 36, uploaded footage of a man having sex with an unconscious 23-year-old woman on social media after partying with her in a club and a hotel, it is claimed.
The alleged victim is said to have drunk heavily before going to Ms Harris's apartment in West Ridge and passing out on 31 August.
Prosecutors claim Ms Harris then incited at least one man to rape her in her home on North Artesian Avenue.
The woman discovered she had been sexually assaulted after seeing a series of clips of the attack posted to her Snapchat account the following day, according to NBCChicago.
Police identified Ms Harris as the person who allegedly filmed the clips, arrested her and charged her with the nonconsensual dissemination of sexual images on Thursday.
They say she had an argument with the complainant over a man they met at a party on 24 August, citing the dispute as a potential motive.
Ms Harris is being held in Cook County Jail after Judge James Brown set bail at £150,000.
Nobody else has been charged over the alleged sexual assault.
