A Nigerian media mogul has filed a lawsuit against the nation's secret police, accusing investigators of smearing his name by arresting him over alleged involvement in deadly car bombings in the capital, Abuja.
The lawsuit is by Raymond Dokpesi, owner of the Africa Independent Television network, and presidential campaign manager for former dictator Ibrahim Babangida, the main opponent to President Goodluck Jonathan in the coming election. Mr Dokpesi's suit seeks more than $666,000 (£420,000) from the State Security Service.
