A San Francisco law firm filed suit on behalf of more than 800 women who it says were exposed to radioactive iron at a Tennessee hospital in the 1940s while they were pregnant, Reuter reports from San Francicso.

The experiments were at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville between 1945 and 1949.
