Your support makes all the difference.Phnom Penh (Reuter) - Gunmen massacred at least 34 ethnic Vietnamese civilians, including women and children, in an attack on a floating village near Siem Reap in north-west Cambodia, the United Nations said. Khmer Rouge guerrillas were thought to be responsible. The killings are the worst atrocity since four rival factions signed a peace agreement in October 1991.
The attackers fired into five houseboats, including a video parlour where several families had gathered. 'In the video parlour it appears that 14 or 15 people were killed; there were several children aged between 3 to 14,' a UN spokesman said.
