n The United Nations children's agency, Unicef, said it would conduct mass vaccinations for ethnic Albanian children from Kosovo in refugee camps in Macedonia. Some 9,000 under-fives will be immunised.

n A Greek aid convoy entered Serbia from Macedonia early yesterday with 74 tonnes of food and medicine destined for Kosovo. The six trucks reached the border on Saturday but waited overnight for Greek officials from Belgrade to escort it in.

n The Netherlands received its first emergency flight carrying Kosovo refugees.

n Anzac Day services drew near-record crowds in cities and small communities across Australia, with organisers attributing renewed interest in part to concern about the Kosovo conflict. But Serbian Second World War veterans boycotted ceremonies in Sydney and Brisbane in protest at the Nato bombing of their homeland.

n Websites started by Yugoslav Serbs are including tips on how to recognise and cope with stress in children living through air raids. The advice includes allowing children to express their anxieties openly.
