Nearly half of Britain's young people want to emigrate. They feel their future is gloomy, with little prospect of finding work.

According to a survey of 509 people aged between 16 and 24, published yesterday, only 51 per cent hope to find a job in Britain - while 46 per cent say they want to emigrate. Nearly three out of four (74 per cent) do not trust politicians while just under half (43 per cent) believe solving unemployment should be a top priority for the Government.
