Maurice Lindsay was born in 1918 and lives in Dunbarton. His first collection was Collected Poems 1940-90 (Mercat Press). His forthcoming collection On the Face of it: Collected Poems Vol. 2 (Hale pounds 9.90), is due to be published this month on his 75th birthday. This recent poem is unpublished.
