Diana Syder was born in 1963 and lives in the Peak District working as a lecturer at Sheffield University. Her poetry has been published in various literary magazines, including Sheaf, Envoi, New Spokes and Orbis. In 1989 Rotherham Arts published her collection Folding the Map, and in 1993 she was runner-up in the Poetry Business Competition/Smith Doorstop.
