Smoker wins sacking claim

Pauline Wright, 40, who lost her job as a betting shop assistant for smoking, has won her claim for unfair dismissal. An industrial tribunal in Birmingham said her sacking from Ladbroke's branch in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, was 'procedurally incorrect'.
