Your support makes all the difference.CHILD MIGRANTS: The Department of Health holds 105 files relating to policy on child migrant schemes dating from 1910 to 1959, John Bowis, the health minister, said. Fifty have been opened to the public. He added: 'So far as we are currently aware, the department does not hold case files on individuals who emigrated.'
PENSIONS: William Hague, the social security minister, said the Government was 'firmly committed to maintaining the value of the basic pension as a solid foundation for retirement'.
