Your support makes all the difference.MPs urged Tony Blair yesterday to release full details of intelligence on Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction amid growing concern at the failure to uncover proof of chemical, biological or nuclear arms in Iraq.
Forty Labour MPs were among 56 who signed a Commons motion, put down by the former defence minister Peter Kilfoyle, warning that MPs had been misled in the run-up to war in Iraq, when the Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary Jack Straw insisted that the regime had chemical or biological weapons.
The motion urged ministers "to publish in full both the evidence it holds, and its sources, for its assertions used in support of pre-emptive war in order to pre-empt the charge that this House has been misled by those assertions".
