Hilary Benn has been sacked as shadow Foreign Secretary and Heidi Alexander has resigned as shadow Health Secretary, amid reports up to half of the Labour shadow cabinet are expected to resign.

Britain voted to leave the European Union by a narrow margin, with a turnout of 72 per cent.
Leave won the referendum with 51.9 per cent (17,410,742 votes), while Remain finished on 48.1 per cent (16,141,241 votes).
