Your support makes all the difference.OktoberFest London ticketholders have been advised to contact the organisers for refunds after the entire event was cancelled this morning.
A statement on OktoberFest London's website says: "Due to unforeseen circumstances the OktoberFest London event has been cancelled."
"The ticket holders are requested to keep hold of their tickets for the event, and the company will inform all ticket holders of the procedure for claiming a refund as soon as possible."
London’s answer to Munich’s annual OktoberFest was cancelled after organisers were unable to cope with the huge crowds that turned up for the event’s opening night.
Tobacco Dock London in Canary Wharf made the announcement this morning, 20 minutes before the first session was due to begin at 12:00pm.
Tobacco Dock have advised ticketholders to contact the event organisers for refunds.
Ticket company Billetto UK have replied to refund queries through their Twitter page saying they are “currently working on getting all information together” before they let ticketholders know further details.
The email address oktoberfestsupport@billetto.co.uk has been created for customers to send refund concerns to.
Some 30,000 people were expected to attend the event at Canary Wharf’s Tobacco Dock, which was due to last until Sunday afternoon.
Tickets for the event started at £10, however VIP tables went up to £1,000.
