Dr Phyllis Quilty, a hospital consultant and club doctor with Dundee Football Club, married Stephen Windsor, an armed robber, at a register office while he was on home leave. The couple, both 42, met during a club visit to Shotts prison, Strathclyde, in 1992. He is serving 14 years for an armed raid and shooting at two police officers in 1985.
