Your support makes all the difference.Two workmen were injured after part of a building collapsed in a seaside town, emergency services said today.
Firefighters rescued one man trapped in rubble after a ground floor collapsed into a basement at a three-storey property in Clarendon Place, Dover, Kent.
A second injured man was also rescued from the building.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said it sent four crews, two from Folkestone and two from Dover, to the scene after receiving a call at 12.16pm.
Firefighters helped shore up the building before the rescue.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 12.14pm to Clarendon Place, Dover, to initial reports that a wall had collapsed.
"We treated two male patients in the cellar of the building. Both were taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
"One had minor injuries and the other had a suspected fractured leg."
