Woman receives 'abusive' phone calls after Ukip billboard accidentally advertises her mobile number
Party says the mistake was the product of an 'unfortunate printing error'

A woman claims she has been receiving abusive phone calls after Ukip mistakenly posted her mobile phone number on one of their mobile billboards.
Alexandria Hall said she received "disgusting calls" from people she did not know after her number was printed on the side of a Ukip Surrey poster about potholes.
An image of the poster was also circulated on Twitter.
Miss Hall wrote about the incident on her Facebook page on Tuesday, where she said: "I’ve just discovered after a few disgusting and abusive calls that Ukip have gone and made a billboard with MY mobile number on it!!”
She also appealed for help from social media users, alleging that the calls were persisting despite her having contacted a Ukip representative to alert them to the mistake.
“WTF!! I hate Ukip for one and will never vote Ukip the racist pompous pr***s! To make matters worse now I'm getting hate calls!! Any ideas on what to do? I’ve already spoken to their 'head office' for the south who advises it should get 'sorted'' and posted it on reddit.”
A spokesperson for Ukip told the Independent the mistake was an “unfortunate printing error” and said the poster displaying the incorrect phone number was taken down after the matter was highlighted by Ms Hall. He said the poster was transported around the Surrey area on Saturday and Sunday before it was pulled.
The spokesperson added: "The person whose number was published has since received and accepted an apology."
