Your support makes all the difference.A young woman remains in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by an unmarked police car in east London, Scotland Yard has said.
The victim, in her 20s, was struck by the vehicle at around 11.30pm on Saturday night on Kingsland Road near Dalston Kingsland overground station in Hackney.
She was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
The police car, which was travelling with its emergency lights on, was on its way to an incident when the collision occurred, a spokesman for Scotland Yard said.
Local road closures are in place and no arrests have been made.
The incident has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), the independent watchdog which oversees the police complaints system in England and Wales.
