The Met Office has said southern and central parts of the UK will benefit from the sunshine as showery rain, gusty winds bring down the temperature, while the North will face a chilly start before the weather turns finer.
Central and western areas, including Wales, will see highs of 12C or 13C, while further south and in the East temperatures will increase to 16C.
Scotland meanwhile will see highs of 12C in some areas.
Central and southern parts of England will see light and heavy rain before sunny spells later on in the day, while the North will see a drier start before the southern showers will move upwards.
Wales faces a light drizzle in the morning before it turns thundery with heavy showers and lightning in the afternoon before easing up in the evening.
Scotland meanwhile will see sunny spells and sunshine before it turns cloudy later on, with no signs of rain.
For Friday, it will largely be a cloudy day all round before heavy rain appears in the eastern parts and north eastern parts.
Saturday will see bright, cool weather all round with highs of 12C before temperatures drop in the evening.
Sunday will be much cooler with temperatures of 9C as we see an overcast start before the day becomes brighter later on, with the east and south east facing rain.
