An extra 250 buses were added to London roads to help get Londoners to and from work. Over twice as much traffic as usual was reported around the city.

While the Tube lines were closed, Boris Bike hires increased from an average of 35,000 to 73,000 in a day.
The RMT Union has said that they want talks to reconvene to resolve the dispute over the introduction of the Night Tube.
