The emergency services were called to the scene in Kenninghall, Norfolk, just after 4pm yesterday.
The child was struck by a silver Nissan pick-up truck on a farm off Fersfield Road.
Paramedics attended but the toddler was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are still trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police have been speaking to the male driver of the truck, who is in his 60s.
No arrests have been made.
