Police said the toddler had been taken to Alder Hey hospital by air ambulance.
Officers were called by paramedics shortly before 9am on Tuesday after the girl fell from the second-storey window.
Lancashire Police said she was “suffering from a number of fractures and is in a serious condition”.
It happened at the Manor Royd hotel in Albert Road, the force said.
“Enquiries are underway,” a spokeswoman said.
