Severed arm found in County Meath woods
Detectives are continuing to look for body parts as investigation continues for a second day

Detectives in Ireland are continuing to investigate the discovery of a severed human arm as they renew their search for other body parts.
The arm was found by a person out walking at The Mayne in Clonee, Co Meath yesterday afternoon and sparked a detailed search and forensic examination of the area, continuing throughout today.
A Garda spokesman said: “The search is ongoing and will continue - weather and light permitting.”
Garda began combing the area yesterday but were forced to end the search when darkness fell.
Following detailed analysis, the body part was removed from the scene and transported to the morgue in Navan, Co Meath.
Gardai will be hoping that fingerprint or DNA traces may be able to help them identify the remains.
Any recovered evidence will be cross-referenced with details on the missing persons database.
