Your support makes all the difference.Rush-hour travellers on the Tube endured yet another miserable journey to work today after emergency engineering work partly closed one Underground line and affected services on two others.
Emergency work at Charing Cross in central London led to the suspension of the Bakerloo line from Paddington in north-west London to Elephant & Castle in south London.
The Charing Cross work also resulted in severe delays on the Northern line between Camden Town and Kennington with minor delays on the rest of the line.
There were also minor delays to District line services between Turnham Green and Richmond in the first part of the rush-hour due to emergency engineering work at Gunnersbury in west London.
To add to commuters' difficulties, late-running main line engineering work at Limehouse in east London led to delays between Barking and Fenchurch Street station in London on services run by the London to Tilbury and Southend train company, c2c.
