All four children who disappeared from their homes in York have been found after an urgent search was launched.

North Yorkshire Police said on Sunday that it was looking for twins Harrison and Harper, aged 11, Lacie, 12 and Chelsea, 13, who were believed to be together.

They were last seen at their homes on Friday but after they failed to return home police launched an urgent appeal for information.

A police spokesperson said: “All four missing children in York have now been found safe and well. Today we appealed for information about the two girls and two boys, aged 11 to 13, who went missing yesterday and were believed to be together.
