Clifford was found guilty on Monday of eight charges of indecent assault on teenage girls as young as 15-years-old over a 20-year period.
The clip, which was filmed on 8 April, shows Sky News correspondent Tom Parmenter reporting on the case outside Southwark Crown Court, where the PR guru was on trial.
In an awkward, exchange, he approaches Parmenter just as he begins discussing evidence given in court surrounding “Max Clifford’s intimate size details” and stands behind him, looking directly at the camera.
Clifford then mimics his movements, until a somewhat bemused Parmenter becomes aware of his presence and turns round to address him.
“Hello Max… We’ll carry on shall we?” Parmenter asks before Clifford walks off.
The video was uploaded to the Sky News YouTube channel with a description that said the footage was not shown during his trial.
The description reads: “During his trial Max Clifford couldn't resist the lure of the media.
“The following clip wasn't live or shown at the time although the celebrity publicist didn't know that when he approached the camera.”
The publicist is the first person to be convicted under Operation Yewtree – the Metropolitan Police’s £3m investigation into historical sex abuse set up after Jimmy Savile’s posthumous exposure as a predatory paedophile.

He was cleared of two other counts of indecent assault. The jury failed to reach a verdict on one further charge.
Clifford was granted bail ahead of sentencing, which could take place as early as Friday.
