Your support makes all the difference.The beleaguered security firm G4S has suspended two employees after a High Court judge said officials at an immigration removal centre had falsified a document that had led to an asylum seeker being returned home, where he was beaten with a metal rod.
Mr Justice Mostyn said three G4S employees – Tamara Burns, Matthew Newman and Marilyn Bennett, who no longer works for the firm, – conspired to “corruptly redact” a certificate which strengthened the case against an immigrant.
The man claimed he had been beaten with a heated metal rod on arrival at his country of origin after UK officials refused to remove paperwork from his luggage identifying him with anti-government groups in that country.
