The Oxford Mail, where Ms Beadle works as assistant news editor, reported that close family say she has spoken with officers from the Metropolitan Police.
Friends and colleagues had launched an appeal to try and find her.
Ms Beadle was missing since 10pm on 29 January, when she was seen leaving her house in the Cowley area of Oxford.
Natasha Wynarczyk wrote on Twitter that Beadle was supposed to meeting her in London on Saturday but didn't arrive. She said the sudden disappearance was "very out of character for her."
Emily Finch said she believed Beadle was expected in London over the weekend. Friends have not been able to get in contact with her since her disappearance.
Beadle reportedly spent the bulk of her time in Oxford and London, but the Chronicle reported that the she has ties to Newcastle, which is her hometown, and Aberdeen.
Beadle has red hair, often wears red lipstick, has a strong Newcastle accent, and is around 5 foot 3 inches (160cm) tall. She was last seen wearing a red waterproof jacket.
Thames Valley Police have said they have been informed that she is missing, and anyone who has any information about her, or who may have seen her, is being asked to call the force on 101, quoting reference URN1302.
