Scott’s restaurant in Mayfair has been contacted by couples looking to eat at the table where a photographer captured images of Saatchi, 70, grabbing his wife’s throat, according to the Sun.
Pictures of the incident were subsequently published in the Sunday People and sparked a nationwide debate over domestic violence.
Mr Saatchi, a former advertising executive and owner of the Saatchi Gallery, dismissed the incident as a “playful tiff” but did accept a police caution for assault to stop the incident “hanging over all of us for months”.
The TV chef and her husband were granted a decree nisi at London’s High Court on 31 July in a hearing that lasted just over 70 seconds. A decree absolute will be issued within approximately six weeks, which will officially end their ten-year marriage.
Ms Lawson, 53, has made no comment since the incident at the restaurant.
The restaurant declined to comment.
