Fifteen celebrities of varying levels of fame entered the house, including to being an American footballer, former glamour model and psychic medium.
Emma Willis returns as host of the main show, with former CBB star Rylan Clark-Neal as the presenter of sister show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’.
The show goes out at 9pm on Channel 5.
Amelia Lily
Amelia Lily’s finished third on the 2011 series of the X Factor, aged just 16. Since then, she’s released three singles with "You Bring Me Joy" reaching number two in the charts.
Lily has also starred in ‘Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’, and the Green Day musical ‘American Idiot’.
Brandi Glanville
Glanville is no stranger to reality TV shows, having already appeared on the American ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ and ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
However, she first made her name on "Real Housewives of Beverley Hills".
Brandi is also the author of two books, Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, and Drinking and Dating: P.S. Social Media Is Ruining Romance.
Chad Johnson
Chad Johnson is an American football player, and has played for both the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins.
However, he may be more famous for his appearances ‘The Bachelorette’, where he acquired the nickname ‘Bad Chad’, went on a drunken rant, and pooed his pants.
Derek Acorah
Acorah may be one of the more familiar faces to UK viewers, having made his name as the resident psychic on ‘Most Haunted’ (along with his ghost guide, Sam).
However, he fell out with co-host Yvette Fielding after she accused him of faking his ability to speak with the dead.
Helen Lederer
Helen Lederer is best known for her role in the sitcom ‘Absolutely Fabulous’, where she starred alongside Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders.
She has since appeared in "The Young Ones", "Hollyoaks", and "Horrible Henry: The Movie", while also taking part in the short-running ITV reality show, "Splash".
Jemma Lucy
Glamour model Jemma Lucy has been appearing on reality TV shows for years, first making an appearance on "Brat Camp" in 2005. Since then she’s also starred on "Signed by Katie Price" and "Ex on the Beach".
Lucy is known for her fruity language and willingness to bear all on social media.
Jordan Davies
A Welsh reality TV personality, Davies was actually a co-star of Lucy’s on "Ex on the Beach".
He used to be engaged to "The Only Way is Essex’s" Megan McKenna, who appeared on CBB last year.
However, he doesn’t seem to have entirely got over the split just yet and recently felt the need to brag about sleeping with 1500 women.
Karthik Nagesan
Nagesan’s most notable achievement is putting in one of the worst performances "The Apprentice" has ever seen, making just £188 compared to the other team’s £40,000.
While on the show he was known for his fierce monobrow, and described himself as “the next billion dollar unicorn.”
Nagesan also thinks he’d be a good prime minister.
Marissa Jade
Marissa Jade has appeared on US reality TV show ‘Mob Wives’, a programme which follows Staten Island women whose partners have been imprisoned for connections to the Mafia.
Jade can’t be typecast, though, having also appeared in the Christmas film ‘Elf’.
Paul Danan
Danan has made appearances on the celebrity version of "Love Island", though he failed to win in either 2005 or 2006.
He first made his name playing the character of Sol Patrick in "Hollyoaks" between 1997 and 2001.
Sam Thompson
Brother of "Made in Chelsea" star Louise Thompson, Sam Thompson is now hoping to make more of a name for himself.
Somewhat bizarrely, he went out with another sibling of another Made in Chelsea star, Tiffany Watson (sister of Lucy).
Thompson is also a keen vlogger.
Sandi Bogle
Bogle will no doubt be especially concerned with what CBB viewers make of her, having made her name on meta-TV show, "Gogglebox".
She made up one half of the much loved pair of Sandi and Sandra, but last year was replaced by Sandra’s daughter Chanchez.
She is the cousin of supermodel Naomi Campbell.
Sarah Harding
Probably the most famous of this year’s contestants, Harding was one-fifth of the band Girls Aloud.
After the band split, Harding released the single "Threads" in 2015, and appeared in "Coronation Street" and the "St Trinian’s".
Those hoping for some gossip on the band will be disappointed though, with Harding saying: “We were like sisters at the end of the day, so I wouldn't go in there [the CBB house] to talk about the band or their secrets.”
Shaun Williamson
Williamson starred in the soap "Eastenders" from 1994 until 2004, when his character Barry Evans met a grisly end with his wife pushing him off a cliff edge.
Williamson showed he could laugh at himself by appearing as an unemployed actor in Ricky Gervais’s sitcom "Extras".
Trisha Paytas
There are seemingly no end to Paytas’s talents: She’s a YouTube star, has released seven music EPs, and starred in music videos for Eminem and Amy Winehouse, as well as appearing in an episode of Modern Family.
In her videos, she often sings about topics like her favourite junk food.
