Meteorologists at the Met Office expect the weather to be dry and fine for many but with possible cloud and showers.
Saturday will be the best day for sunshine in most parts of the UK after a chilly night but cloud will cover much of the country on Sunday with some rain, especially in the north.
Bright conditions are expected to continue in the South East, while further west and north thicker clouds may bring showers.
The best of any sunshine is likely to stay in southern England and northeast Scotland, where temperatures should be in the high teens.
Andy Page, chief meteorologist at the Met Office, said: “It looks as though much of the UK will enjoy some pleasant spring weather this weekend, although we are not expecting wall to wall sunshine anywhere.
”The best of any warm sunshine is likely across southeastern parts of England. Northern parts of UK look set to have some rather changeable conditions, but even here, there will be some brighter and drier spells, especially in the east."
