Your support makes all the difference.The UK will be deluged with yet more miserable weather as the first autumn storms of the year roll in from the Atlantic.
Heavy rain and gusting winds are expected, with forecasters predicting that some areas will suffer localised flooding. South-west England and Wales will bear the brunt of tomorrow's storms with 50mm of rain and 50mph winds expected.
The latest instalment of awful weather follows one of the darkest, wettest Augusts on record. The dank conditions will roll in from the Atlantic today, with rain expected for most of the UK.
Conditions will then worsen tomorrow before petering out over the remainder of the weekend. A spokesman for the Press Association's weather division MeteoGroup said: "A deep depression is moving in from the South West tomorrow.
"Much of the UK will experience rain with the South West and Wales being the worst hit. By the end of tomorrow there will be some localised flooding in places. The whole of Wales will get pretty heavy rain. The weather we are going to see would be fairly typical of autumn conditions."
He added that some areas would see winds of more than 50mph and rainfall of more than 50mm. The depression will move across the UK today with 5-10mm of rain expected to fall across central and north-west England, with conditions worsening tomorrow.
Scotland and the Northern Isles will avoid the worst of the weekend's weather, the area will stay dry and even experience some sunshine.
