Tiparat Argatu, 43, died from neck and head injuries at a property in Whitechapel
Police investigating the death of a woman are searching for a man seen walking naked through Whitechapel early in the morning on the day her body was found.
Detectives believe a man was walking naked in the area between 4am and 9am on Sunday 24 January, and are appealing for witnesses who may have seen him or discarded clothing in the area.
"They wish to speak with anyone who saw this man, or who found clothing discarded near to the scene in Ellen Street," Scotland Yard said in an appeal for witnesses.
Tiparat Argatu, 43, died from neck and head injuries at a property in Ellen Street, Whitechapel, on the same day.
Argatu was found by police after they were called to do a welfare check.
The Thai national had moved to London in September last year to be with her husband, the Metropolitan Police said.
David Cheres, 19, who is thought to have known the victim but is not related to her, has been charged with murder. Nobody else is being sought in connection with the death.
